Ken Griffith was born in Iowa, grew up in Florida and has lived in Atlanta since 1971. Ken graduated from the Georgia Military Academy.  He received a BS in Finance from Florida State University and a law degree from University of Florida.  Ken was a member of the Bar in both Georgia and Florida. Ken received a commission in the US Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps.  He served on active duty for four years including one tour in Viet Nam and one in the Pentagon.  Ken remained in the Army Reserves and retired as a Colonel. Following his active duty he joined The Coca-Cola Company where he practiced law and held several management positions.  In 1982 he changed careers and began work in the commercial real estate business in Atlanta as a Broker. In 2011 Ken was appointed to the Georgia Civil War Commission by Gov. Deal.  Ken’s first book “Seven Days In July” about the Battle of Atlanta has been released by Indigo River Publishing to very good reviews. He is working on his second Civil War related book.
