Curtis Harris Collier, III was appointed to the State of Georgia Civil Ware Commission by Governor Nathan Deal in August 2011. A native and long-time resident of Athens, Georgia, he has deep roots in Georgia going back to the 18th Century. Curt earned his BBA in General Management at The University of Georgia in 1991. He has worked in Field Sales for Henry Schein Medical since 2000. In addition to serving on the State of Georgia Civil War Commission, Curt also serves on the Jackson County Historic Courthouse Committee and the Crawford W. Long Museum Executive Board, both in Jefferson. He is an active member of Saint Thomas Anglican Church in Athens. Curt is married to the former Georgia Malisse House of Gainesville, and they have two children: Curtis Harris Collier, IV and Mary Morgan Collier.
